NAYA Family Center Scholarship Program
The Native American Youth and Family Center (NAYA) Scholarship Program awards scholarships to current or college-bound students, who have or are currently participating in NAYA Family Center programming, are current based on demonstrated academic and non-academic achievement, financial need, and demonstrated commitment to family and/or community.
Scholarships Available
NAYA General Scholarship
The NAYA General Scholarship provides awards to current and former NAYA participants who are pursuing post-secondary education and training at a non-profit, accredited, higher education institution or registered apprenticeship program. Applicants must meet all eligibility criteria of the NAYA Family Center Scholarship Program.
Dorothy Ackerman Scholarship
The Dorothy Ackerman Scholarship honors a legacy of service, leadership, and dedication to strengthening communities through education, health, and civic engagement.
Applicants must be pursuing a major in Community Development, Community Health, or Political Science, and must meet all other eligibility criteria of the NAYA Family Center Scholarship Program.
KIMIWA Scholarship
This scholarship provides awards to current and former NAYA participants who are pursuing post-secondary education. Applicants must meet all eligibility criteria of the NAYA Family Center Scholarship Program.
Applications open: Annually, January 15th at 12:00 AM PST
Application closes: Annually, April 15th 11:59 PM PST

Amount of Awards: Varies based on funding and demonstrated need
